Sun Belt Call Notes
Dan McCarney jumped on the Sun Belt Conference teleconference this morning.

The one news tidbit to come out of the call on the UNT front is that Brandon McCoy and Tevinn Cantly are both day-to-day with injuries.

UNT lost both guys, who are very important to their defensive front, in the first quarter of its loss to LSU.

Now, day-to-day is just about as vague a term you are ever going to hear, but neither is goin to be out long-term. They should be back when things start to get serious for UNT when it plays Troy in Week 4.

I have said all along that it would be a huge surprise if UNT doesn’t head into that Troy game at 1-2 with a win over Texas Southern and losses to LSU and Kansas State.
