Not sure if it's practice squad or not though.

Practice squad is still a good deal..$5700/week for 17 weeks. $96,900/season.. not the $295,00 minimum salary but still not bad for 17 weeks of work

Almost $100 grand for 5 months or less of work? Good for Schiller!

Good for him! People can and do move up when the opportunity presents itself.

This is great for Pat. Hope he gets the chance to move up and make the 53 man roster soon.

it is great for pat but don't be fooled into thinking it is only 5 months of work......Pro football is a full time, year round job......what with daily or twice daily demanding workouts to keep the body tuned and toned, playbook studying and film sessions to deal with the intellectual demands of the NFL and skill development and technique improvement to better hone abilities.......mini camp, etc....there is a lot of WORK involved 24/7--365....hell just think of the dietary issues..

OK he's making $100K right out of college. Awesome. Still a great way to make a living for a few years. Spend/save that money responsibly and he should be set up for a healthy financial future once he has to stop playing.
