You guys know I follow recruiting close. As you know, Orgeron is a very hard worker, and to this date, we have 6 committments. As you know, that is an astronomical number for Ole Miss at this stage in the game. I also know that I have seen official offers to over four quarterbacks this year (all blue chippers that I would be proud to wear the red and blue). It is rumored that Orgeron has offered over 200 players a scholarship to play at Ole Miss this year, and is going to take the first 25 initially, then sort through the better athletes (much like they did at USC). I have seen interviews with the MVP of the Nike camps at Miami and at USC. The MVP of the USC camp is a linebacker, the MVP of the Miami camp was a quaterback I believe (but could have been a secondary player, my memory sucks). Ole Miss is in their top five (both of them have us on their radar and are coming for visits). Stay tuned, we are really going after some good athletes and getting some legit intrest.

Is it just me, or is it nice to have a coach who believes Ole MIss can get the best, so he recruits the best instead of just ignoring them b/c he thinks they are out of our league?

*As a side note, I am going to hear Orgeron speak tonight and if you like, I will give a report tomorrow.
