I found the Pac-12 Network! I can't wait for this game. I think SD pulls off the big upset!

If our defense sleepwalks through the first half like it did most of the time last year, it won't even be close. OTOH, if we can contain UW QB Keith Price, we could pull off the upset.
Aztecs to keep an eye on: TE, Gavin Escobar (#88), who's a stud who will be playing on Sundays; WR Colin Lockett (#24), who is a HR threat assuming he doesn't have the dropsies; our CB who wears #2, Leon McFadden, who is the pre-season MWC defensive POY; and inside LB Jake Fely, a shorter version of Troy Palumalu. You won't need his number to find him. Just look for the hair.
QB Ryan Katz and WR Brice Butler are transfers from Oregon State and USC. I'm from Missouri when it comes to their talent level.

Don't think SDSU wins this one. Will still go to a bowl though.

Can I get this game on DirecTV or did I read correctly that the PAC-12 Network has not yet been picked up by DirecTV?

Not exactly a great day for Pac 12 with Colorado losing to CSU and Cal losing to Nevada.

and to think, no one wanted either of these schools in the mix for NBE West.

One game doesn't mean much. Look at our friends in Houston. I'll still gladly take them over CSU or Nevada, though I do like the Wolfpack.

SDST just got hosed on a call. They gave the TD to Washington after a fumble but the SDSU kid was down.

I like Colorado State. They have decent academics and they have had a winning FB team in the past. They had a great crowd today in Denver, which is a pretty good sized media market. I think they're building a new FB stadium (or remodeling the existing one). Geographically, they're right in the middle of SMU, Houston, Memphis, Boise, SDSU, and BYU.
But they haven't promoted themselves at all. Maybe they're not interested in competing for a Big East spot.
BYU remains our top choice by a mile.

Toledo is tied up with Arizona in the 4th as well.

UDub wins 21 - 12. Aztec defense showed improvement from mid-2nd qtr. Too many mistakes and too conservative on offense to pull this one out. 21 points isn't bad against any offense with that many weapons. Then again UDub seemed to keep it really basic on d. They better take some risks defensively or LSU is going to roll them next week. As for the Aztecs the 3rd or 4th place preseason predictions are looking about right.
Time to check the scores from the rest of the NBE games.

I got laugh at for picking Nevada instead of Air Force. Neveda and BYU are the two prize teams left in the West.

Nevada is no prize. Watch their attendance this year.
They beat a bad Cal team. Let's not go overboard now.

Kindly stick to opining on EASTERN schools.
Everything anybody should need to know about Nevada is that during a 12-1 regular season in which they were the only team to beat Boise, they averaged less than 22K per game.
Then there's their Erector Set stadium. And the fact Washoe County has only a quarter million residents and the only populous area within a half day's drive is Sacramento where nobody but nobody cares about UNR.
