Looks like this has been designated a test case for VU football membership into the BE. Look out for a high octane battle.

Not bad, for an FCS opener... though it is the rivalry.

RE: Temple-Nova thread...
Crowd looks similar to the past few years for this game (about 30-35,000 in years past I think.)

Mmm, doesn't look quite like 30k to me ATM - though it's entirely possible that it may be by the end of the game. That would be just less than 1/2 filled, and right now it doesn't look like that really. I think it's somewhere between 22 and 28k ATM.

Also, nice start. V's defense has got to be tired and let down after that.

Again from @joey_cranney

He's saying the lower bowl is full and should be better than last year's attendance at 32K.

EDIT: The one thing I dislike is Linc not painting the end zones with Temple's logo.

That's the problem with not being the top tenant in a stadium. Temple needs their own facility.

The lower bowl does look fairly full. I'm up in the club seats though with my martini, away from the commoners.

RE: Temple-Nova thread...
Temple needs to continue the upward trend, then maybe they'll get a stadium. Or maybe they can pay extra rent ($$$) and get some Temple stuff painted on the field.

Hopefully the attitude in Pennsylvania isn't: "Pitt rents an NFL stadium, why isn't that good enough for Temple?".
