Trice Article/LSU Update
North Texas will look to Marcus Trice this season to be a playmaker on defense.

When it comes to Saturday’s game at No. 3 LSU, that on-field task won’t be all the junior safety has to worry about.

Trice also will have to be the rock that helps steady a young defense filled with players who have never experienced an atmosphere like the Mean Green will encounter, not to mention an opponent as talented as LSU.

UNT will take on the Tigers in front of a crowd that could exceed 90,000 at Tiger Stadium.

ESPN Article about damage to Tiger Stadium.

"Our options are limited as far as opportunities to play this game and there was minimal damage to the stadium, so we are proceeding with the season opener on Saturday night," LSU athletic director Joe Alleva said in a school news release.
