Exactly! No one in the tri-state area ever bought into the "Red Storm" name. Most just call them the Johnnies now, which we should have just used as our nickname.

Tnzazz-I can't wait until you guys get to come up tp the Garden for both a game against the Johnnies and then again for the Big East tourny. It will be a shock to the system to see a conference tounry like this.

I've always called them the Johnnies.

I can't wait! First, I love NY. Second, I love basketball. Its a win/win! I was already a fan of the BE tournament. I try to watch it every year.

Of course a shock to the system will be the Memphis fans that will take over The Garden in 2014.04-cheers

They are finishing up the renovations to the Garden which took two summers to do and the downstairs looked great last year so i'm sure the upstairs will look just as great this year. They opened up the concourse and improved the concessions as well as replaced all the seats with nice cushions. It is a great place to watch basketball.

Can't wait to see the new faces at the Garden in '14!

I’m old school Chris Mullin and Walter Berry, they will always be the Redmen to me. Can we bring back Louie C and his sweater? Go Johnnies!

It's a shame that SJU (NY) doesn't teach pluralization.

I hope you aren't as anal about everything in life as you are about small details on an internet sports message board.
