Romney's Coal Mine Speech is Questioned

Union president Becky Williams noted that the Center for Responsive Politics shows parent company Murray Energy has donated more than $900,000 to the Republican ticket in the past two years.

So you would be okay if you employer closed your work and made it mandatory for you to attend an Obama rally. Made you a backdrop for a political speech and then didn't compensate you for it.

If this is what happened, then yeah...it's a pretty big deal. Employers can't make you attend meetings off the clock regardless of the political aspect.
