OT: El Paso's John Skelton starting for the AZ Cardinals
Anyone know how he did in AZ NFL Preseason game tonight?

He was supposed to start, but looks like only 3 points were on the board late in the 2nd quarter.

As I type this, Kevin Kolb threw an interception.

Kolb looks nothing like he did at UH. Late run at the end of the half has him looking a little better but geez, he was a world beater at UH.

Skelton named AZ's starting QB.

But his brother was cut (tight-end). My daughter goes to school with Skelton's little sister. Seems they are all quality athletes.

Heard on the radio this morning that Skelton was dissing UTEP for not offering him a scholarship.

According to KLAQ, Skelton was assed to walk on at UTEP so he went to Fordham instead.

He still holds a grudge against UTEP although he claims not to root against them anymore.
