I think of a Stetson hat as being one of the big hats(ten gallon they called them)that some of the cowboys wore. Some of you older guys might remember the hats that Tim McCoy, Tom Mix, Ken Maynard, Buck Jones, and even William Boyd(Hopalong Cassidy) wore. The high hat that wasn't shaped flat on top.

Gene, probably no one one this board is old enough to remember any of these old B western stars other than you, I, and Doc. Some might remember Hoppy, as he had a TV show in the 50's.
