The betting line has moved from -6.5 at the open to -10. NIU is 10 point underdogs. For the line to move up that much, there must be a lot of stupid Iowa money being bet.

NIU is 0-7 vs Iowa, 0-2 at Soldier Field, it looks like we will have 5OL that will be starting their first college game and we lost the best player at NIU in modern history...I can't blame them.

"I think the depth and overall talent of Iowa shows through in the second half and the Hawks win by double digits."

Yeah I think there is tons of Iowa money coming in. 10 seems a little too high to me, I think it will settle at 9 to 9.5 by kickoff.

Iowa lost 5 RBs and has a very thin defensive line, they have just as many questions.

I believe the line moved up because NIU lost it's best player on defense and offense. Look at LSU, they lost there best player and they dropped in the polls by two spots. Also, I believe the defense will keep us in the game and who knows what could happen, NIU is on a 9 game winning streak. 03-shhhh

Some would argue, last year's edition of the Bobcats was a better team than Iowa last year including myself. And no, Iowa is nothing like a top 7 Badger team last year, Iowa is a top 40 to 50 team this year, quite different beasts.

I once thought NIU had decent shot in this game. Not anymore. I see Iowa rolling to victory.

Iowa 28

The Over/Under is now posted.... 50.

So with a -10 spread, that gets you:

30-20 bad guys.

I think I like the Under....they can't hang 30 on us, can they?

Really? We lost Jordan Lynch and Sean Progar? Or was it Martell Moore and Tyrone Clark? Where have I been?

IMO, we have to hold them under 30, say like about 21 pts, to have a chance to win this one. The defense has to step up, a couple of turnovers would be nice.....then we have a shot. However, I think the O Line will develop over the next couple of games and give us a good shot at 8-4 season.

YES, Butler and Pegram...middle LB and the only experience OL, that was going to touch the ball every time on offense. 03-nutkick

Pegram was not our best on offense. Maybe not top 3....... Lynch, Moore, Ashford.
