2012 Big East women's soccer thread.
Just because. Also because, I mean, I think we have a pretty good league, even if Notre Dame is the only one who ever wins titles.

Also also because Rutgers put some of their events on the web and I am watching RU-tOSU:

I forget, will all all-sports NBE teams field women's teams? I know there's one who doesn't do men's...SMU I think.

Are you saying SMU doesn't field a men's team? They do, and they're really good.

UH has a women's team, but no men's team. I'm hoping with the increase in revenue that moving to the NBE will generate, we can find a way to field a men's team. There's way too much talent in Houston not to.

Ah, it's you all who I was thinking of then. We must all have women's teams.

It took nearly two extra periods but OLYMPIC BRONZE MEDALIST Jonelle Filigno scored the winner for RU.

Really good day for the BE...Nova tied Maryland, Cincy beat NCSU, USF beat Miami.

The Memphis Tigers women's soccer team was ranked #14 in the preseason after climbing as high as #5 last year and finishing with a 21-1-1 record.

I think Memphis will have a legitimate shot at winning a few titles once we join the Big East.
