Yes, I heard that. It is unfortunate for the dogs and very irresponsible of the handlers. La Tech needs to figure out how to do it right. But PETA is redonkulous!

Well, one would think having a VETERINARIAN care-for and board our mascot would be a fairly safe bet. Just goes to show, nothing is fail-proof.

I've heard that dog's with short faces have trouble exchanging enough air to keep their temp down.

I wonder if they could get him a chiller on the field like the polar bears at the zoo have? A cold flat stone to lay one with refrigerant underneath.

Our tiger rides in a climate controlled enclosure, but the enclosure isn't "optional" with a tiger.
