I never said or meant to imply anything of the sort. I fully believe that Biden will appear more genuine to the voters than Ryan because of his advantage of more years in the arena. And thusly will win the debate.

Again, I imagine about 90-95% are already in one camp or the other. Those left who can be swayed will do so on trivial things like the sweat on someone's upper lip or their five o'clock shadow.

In fairness to Ford, he was an all-American football player in college and turned down an NFL contract to attend law school. Of course that was back when the NFL was a pretty low-rent operation.

It's ironic that one of the best athletes to be president was so mercilessly portrayed as a klutz.

Say what you want about Biden, but I think he'd be a ball at parties and I'd love to hear what he has to say when he's half in the bag.
