when you're out in public...the police can observe you if they wish.

Tell you what. I'll let it slide if you promise I won't get slapped around and have my phone/camera busted because I observed THEM in public.

now I TOTALLY agree the TSA and some cops need to remember we can observe them too...I should have the right to walk up to a TSA check point and record their activities.
