Seems like they were pretty complimentary to me though. I would rather be in the "WAC East" than in the current Sun Belt, it certainly wouldnt be as competative initially, but would be a tighter footprint than the SB, would have several rivalries ready to go, and great attendance. The Sun Belt footprint is compact for a FBS league, but is still pretty large from a travel standpoint.

JSU fans are as dillusional as they are jealous of Troy's success. They won't admit it of course, because that would make them look weak and pathetic, but beneath the fake and transparent pride, they are just that.

They remind me of the kid who is jealous of another kid's new car, so he rags on the brand to compensate for the fact he can't afford one.

Who would App State rather play? JaxState or Troy....don't even think we would need to answer that. No offense JaxState, but Troy, of course.
I don't think that JSU has ever even won a playoff game, wouldn't even be concerned about beating them; Troy on the other hand would be a challenge. Especially in my mind since I would be rooting somewhat for both teams.

The Sun Belt doesn't suck. It's not the SEC, but who is except them. Take out East Carolina and Southern Miss and the Sun Belt is a better conference than the CUSA. Some years you wouldn't have to take both of them out to be better. Damn it, be proud of who you are. Why even respond to "bear baiting", there is no veracity in those statements? You may not like what I am about to say, but if JSU gets that much vitriol, you should think of having them in the conference eventually.

the only reason JSU gets these type of reactions is because we are bored and need someone to rag on. the Gamecocks are an easy target because they are well-beneath us but hilariously think they are better.
