God...jeez...I have a ton of sympathy for legitimately nice homely people (like Brittney Griner) who legitimately work hard and are extremely talented, but for a cheater like this? No way. She is in the same territory as Barry Bonds as far as I'm concerned.

Suggestion to the IOC:

Have athletes arrive in London 5-6 days early so that ALL could be drug tested...and most results will be known before the finals in some sports are even played (and others haven't even started).

Doing it only AFTER an event has been held robs the legit winner (i.e. Silver Medalist) all the limelight of standing a top of the podium and hearing their national anthem played.

Well i'm "shocked." I am almost positive that steriods, in addiiton to building muscle, also acts a fat burner. Doesn't look like its working to me. :domokun:

It might shock you what it"s percentage of body fat is. I'm guessing the same as NFL Offensive lineman around 10 to 15%.

Yea, that dude would woop all of our asses. What did she throw the shot, 68feet plus (and I think women use a 12 pound) - as a high school man if you throw in the upper 60s with a 12 you're the elite of the elite. She's basically as strong and explosive as a high school senior starting tackle that is all state and going full ride to a blue blood program.

Just a couple of observations.

1, In makes there is a slight ridge above the eyebrows while it doesn't exist in women.

2, Males have shorter index fingers then their ring fingers while the reverse is true of women.

I had a weird feeling about that shot putter while watching the competition anyway. I agree with the suggestion by KL that the IOC should have all the athletes arrive a week early and test for everything they can possibly take but that doesn't cover things that are not yet detectable.

A distance runner from a Middle Eastern country, I think his name was Rashid Ramzy, won the 800 or 1500 in Beijing and then got stripped of his gold medal five or six months after the Olympics because they later found something in his blood that never showed up on the original tests.

The same thing could happen with the Chinese swimmer, and I am not accusing her of something now, just pointing out that the IOC said she was clean to quiet the immediate furor but previously undetected substances could possibly be found months from now if any doping did happen.

I am sure this shot putter tested clean immediately after the competition but then they found something when they did further testing a few days later. This is faster than they caught Ramzy, but they held the ceremony and gave her the medal, so the other athletes were still cheated.

I'm waiting on that one. She had the 4th fastest freestyle split in the 200IM. Man or Woman. Yeah that's possible.
