Yea the kid took Algebra 3 before taking Algebra 2 in Summer School no less, and they couldn't find anything wrong with that what so ever. There were red flags out the wazzu on this matter more so than just academics, but for some reason Kentucky was able to cover it's tracks quite well in the process. The SEC is a scandalous conference for sure for even the best schools get caught with their pants down on more than one occasion.

Auburn cant seem to stay out of the spotlight.

I agree that this is the SEC attitude. Hell, I have lived in Baton Rouge for 29 years and have seen it first hand.

My question, though, is why is this ok for fans of any other non-SEC school? It is sort of accepted by everyone. It is winked at by sports "journalists" and fans of other schools.

There should be outrage and shouting from the rooftops about his $hit.

it shouldnt be ok. i really believe that the NCAA and the powers that be really dont care. They wont care unless forced to take action (like in the case of PSU) There is just too much $$$$ involved, too much power and IMO too much corruption at some of the highest levels.
Another "incident" at Auburn . They should be punished. Until they, and other programs with other incidents like this, are punished(strongly), this will continue

One of the funny (if you look at it that way) things the NCAA "nailed" UCF with is for a kid who never enrolled at UCF was taken to a KENTUCKY vs FLORIDA basketball game in Lexington, KY...and the NCAA "nailed" UCF for that.

Meanwhile, SEC Schools have HS employees on their payroll...open 3rd party recruiters like World Wide Wes that the entire WORLD knows about, yet the NCAA turns the other cheek and does nothing.

Why?

Has to be $$$$$....has to be.

The SEC is very, very sad.
