So at what point
Do the talking heads from other networks call ESPN out for what they are trying to do with the Big East? At some point someone has to say something. It's gotten too blatant.

Once the new media rights deal is finalized, and all the new partners begin their campaign to call out the BS flowing from ESPN.

I would guess the ESPN bashing of the Big East (to drive down the value of the TV contract) would somewhat benefit the other networks as well. ESPN is doing the heavy lifting for them.

But that only works if other real bidders buy into it. Convincing a lot of message board posters that the BE sucks probably doesn't mean a lot in the negotiations, lol.

Every successful guy in that business is a cutthroat shark, lol, even if some of them are nice guys otherwise, including our brand new commish.
