who will you be on tv with? at home? i stated you won't.

i realize the rest of the conference doesn't care about hoops but some fans do.

answer me another question. did your president actually sit down with an architect and ask him to camouflage seats? your guy said he did.

Google the multicolored seat subject and you should see that Troy didn't invent this idea....it's actually pretty common these days. Since I think you're one of those who might not be capable of carrying out this small task, I'll start you off with one link that came up on my little google search...

Secondly, to answer your question about who will be televised in Troy Arena. I'd say you're a pretty short sighted little fellow. Who would have thought the the worst program in FBS for multiple years would ever have more than a win or two? I didn't, but it happened for wku last year. Unless your professing to be nostradamus, you don't know how Troy's bball team will be in the coming years so stop already.

The New Orleans Dome has the whole multi-colored seat thing going on.

I hate it and it looks terrible. Hopefully we can fill the stands so that we DON'T have to see those seats. Other than that the arena is a masterpiece and I can't wait to see it in person! 02-13-banana 04-cheers 04-rock

People will be very shocked out how the enrollment increase will change Troy very soon.

I remember in Fall 2009, enrollment was 7,166. (~31,000 worldwide). What kind of numbers are we looking at for Fall 2012? And what changes are you talking about?

BTW, I think it was roughly 5,000 when I was a freshman in 2005.

1. i never complained about multi-colored seats. i said troy's reasoning is ridiculous. built in fail from the president to the architect.

2. i'm not short-sighted. i do know exactly what troy's team will be as long as maestri is coach. pretty decent every other year with 9 or 10 seniors. it's a mockery of the game. and they'll never win a tourney because he can't teach defense. and they'll never have a tv game higher than waynes world access level because nobody is coming to troy. nobody.

3. i complimented the actual arena. it's about time you quit playing in a high school gym. we're losing fiu and their joke of a gym. ulm still has their rodeo barn but they're big lots and that won't change. gsu has a joke of a gym. the damn hoops come out of a wall.

1. Probably difficult for someone from Kentucky to understand, but bball is a distant third here in Alabama to football and baseball. I'd bet the pres and architect also know this. Building a new arena at Troy is not automatically going to make the people of this region love basketball.

2. The arena will outlast the coach. (insert typical lame comment here). Most football ppl said the same type things about a certain SBC team before the start of last season. It was probably a one hit wonder, but WKU was bowl eligible last year. Anything can happen!

Not this fall I'm talking about around 2015.

RE: Trojan Arena (New Pictures)
dahbeed, you're being awefully critical of our program. I'd worry more about your own program and less about one that has become a consistent winner of the Conference in two of the three main sports. WKU is light years ahead of Troy in basketball and the best overall in the SBC, but other than that the Toppers have been the whipping boys of the Sun Belt since moving up.

RE: Trojan Arena (New Pictures)
The arena looks great. Nascar has been using multi-colored seats for awhile now. (See Daytona, Charlotte)
People can dog on it all they want, but building something that with a good product you can consistently fill night in, night out is very smart.
It looks similar to the Curb Center in Nashville, only with more bells and whistles. Either way, for a small school in southern Alabama that's a football first school Troy built what they needed.
