I just thought of this today
in the 70's tennis played next to Warf Pickle then they moved to play all of their home matches in the dome. a new facility was constructed near the baseball field (Mullins started coaching at this facility because Yaser couldn't win against good opponents in the fast surface dome). in the 90's a large amount of money was spent to put another layer of asphalt on the courts next to Warf Pickle with new fencing and surface (basically a new facility). they graded for a tennis facility at the current softball complex and it got axed with Stansbury in charge. now another tennis facility is being built.

that is 5 (could have been 6) on campus athletic facilities for one sport in less than 50 years. time to get the priorities right!!

I'd start a rumer that everything between the D.P. Culp Center and University High is set for demolition in order to build 100 tennis courts . . . except I'd be affraid that I might turn out to be right!

RE: I just thought of this today
I dont think this one will be done on time- I go by the new location all the time and nobody is ever there. Its so interesting watching the contrast between MSHA's construction and ETSU's going on at the same time. Just as it was funny to watch University Edge go up quickly while the baseball field sit there for 2 years.
