It's not OK for the commish to interpret Louisiana law.

Guys, as I've said on other threads, if a name debate breaks out I will issue moderation to the worst offenders. We are not going to allow that pointless back-and-forth to derail threads anymore. Everyone knows that Cajun fans want to be called UL or Louisiana, and most comply out of respect. If someone won't however, that is there business and we aren't going to allow thread after thread to devolve into pissing contests over the matter.

The Ladd and and the Georgia Dome (home of new member, GSU Panthers). Hope to visit Troy and MTSU next year and maybe the Dome again next year depending on if and where South plays them.

Been to:

Ladd Peebles (last years GoDaddy Bowl)
Troy - drove by on way to Florida once
MTSU - saw two games vs. ASU when we sucked...nightmare
UNT - seen 3 games at Fouts not been to new stadium
UL - been to 1 game vs. UL and the Katrina Bowl
ULM - been there several times dating back to SLC days
FIU - been there once 2 years ago
TSU - drove by their stadium last week on way to San Antonio...new addition looks very nice!
GSU - been in Ga Dome
ASU - home turf been there too many times to count.

Not been to FAU or WKU...yet.

I agree that, next to Louisiana, Troy probably has the best gameday experience. MT is right there, too.

stAte packs the tailgaters in when the team is doing well, at least early on in the season.

I was more impressed with stAte's Gameday than Troy. But I think I've been to Troy both times when Auburn/Bammer were playing each other.

I went to the UL and stAte game last year, and I didn't see any tailgating going on besides a lone UL tent. This was in the area between the convocation center and their football field. Do stAte fans tailgate somewhere else? Only thing I heard was the 20 mph wind and Cajun music coming from the UL tent.

They had a huge tailgate behind the Pressbox last time I was there, along with folks near the outdoor track. Most businesses on the way to the university had something about the "Redwoofs" on their signs, and buildings.

I was pretty impressed.

With the exception of the two Florida schools, I've been to all of them. Most of them multiple times.

Convo center lot is usually a bunch of razorback fans, so if there is a razorback game in play, they dont come.

A lot steadier tailgating by the Track, and in Tailgate city behind the press box.
