Charlotte Shedding FCS, DII schools from schedule
We've dropped our Home-and-Home series with Georgia Southern (2014 and 2015) and Furman (2014 and 2015).

We also dropped DII North Greenville from the 2013 schedule.

Our second game of the series with Western Carolina has been moved from 2015 to a later date to be determined.

Our Home-and-Home with future conference mate ODU was pushed back from September dates to November in both 2013 and 2014.

We picked up DIII Wesley College (Delaware) for home games in the 2013 and 2014 season to replace those vacated above.

Richmond asked to be let out of their Home-and-Home with us in 2016 and 2017.

Most of these moves were to drop the FCS schools from the 2015 schedule so we could add a 5th (required) home game against and FBS opponent.

Sounds like in 2015 we could have a BCS team coming to play us at Charlotte per NN.N.

I know the speculation has been Wake, for obvious reasons; but at this point, with the ACC going to a 9 game conference schedule, there's no room for us on Wake's 2015 slate:

Interesting. Wonder who it is then.

Temple has plenty of room on their 2015 schedule. Wouldn't shock me if it is them.

Plus Temple having Penn St. at home that year, they're more likely to be willing to come on the road first. That being said, Temple isn't what I'd call an exciting choice.

FYI, here's a team that has some room in 2015.

Here's another, but much less likely to come visit us in Charlotte.

This one would be awesome.

Wake could aways shift things around, would be surprised due to Lambert's ties there.

They already have to move/drop one of those games because the ACC is moving to a 9 game conference schedule. We need a home game and that means Wake would either need to drop Army or Notre Dame. I don't see either of them getting dropped.

Makes sense, I could see Temple with A10 connection. Maybe we can play them in basketball too after leaving.

Aren't we playing a full CUSA schedule in 2015?
We have 4 cusa school coming right?

At least 4, but with the conference going to 14 teams in 7 team divisions; they might go to 9 conference games per year like the ACC. That would mean alternating years of 4 and 5 CUSA home games.
