ASU reassigns the Athletic Director
Kinda strange after making what many consider the hire of the century in getting Gus Malzahn. Must be something else behind it. Maybe he wasn't what they think they need in that capacity, now that they are going big time in football.

They had just renewed Lee's contract for three more years in June, then they reassign him to a fund raising job, and from what I've been reading, one reason for the change was that he couldn't raise money. Why did they extend his contract? It's pretty clear that ASU really wants to be big time in athletics and they want it to happen now. They are throwing all the money they can get toward that goal. Reminds me of UCA a few years ago, and we know what happened there. They got too big for their britches too fast.
