insight into Shields' player rotations?
Clemson coach Brad Brownell plays a defense-first game much similar to Shields. Here is a quote from College Sports Madness' preview of Clemson:

"Coach Brownell will always go as deep as he can down his roster in order to get fresh defensive players on the floor."

Interesting. We usually think of Nolanball as the style that demands fresh legs, but Brownell wants them for defense.

Coach Foley is also a defense first coach. We think about his motion offense, but when he speaks, he always stresses defense.
