Who are the top MAC pass-catch combos returning?
After that article on MAC WRs and TEs, I thought of this Q.

I'd hazard a guess that it will be Dysert to Harwell. Most likely to challenge will be UT 2 headed monster to Reedy. I might have said Lynch to Moore but with the run game so big and Lynch just now getting the starting nod, who knows how much they will be throwing?

OU lost Brazill.
WMU lost White and the next best guy.
Toledo lost Page.
NIU lost Harnish.
..... that leaves perhaps a Miami, BG, or Ball State combo that would have the #1 2011 returning combo. Toledo's QB to Reedy is still fair considering he had 9 TD's and 750+ yards. Still not #1 in the MAC I don't think.

NIU might have to do some additional throwing if the new O-line doesn't run block well enough. Even if Lynch does well though I suspect we'll continue to spread the ball around too much. Last year we had 3 guys with 47 catches and only 1 of them is gone. Plus there are young guys that seem to steal a decent number of catches.

I agree that Dysert to Harwell is most likely with UT's QB combo/Reedy next.

CMU QB Ryan Radcliff to Titus Davis (8 TD's, 751 yds as a Freshman) and Cody Wilson (130 receptions and 1,600 yds in last two seasons) will be among the top combos in 2012.

BG lost 6 of their 7 top receivers from last year so its certainly not them. Plenty of quality but untested receivers. I believe Joplin is the leading returing receiver with 21. Their tight end Bayer had a few more.

Pass-Catch? Whats that? I haven't seen any throwing game in Buffalo since Drew Willy graduated. My 3 deep tell me we have recievers, but QB is a big <?>

Perhaps I should have asked you to predict who you believe will be the top pass and catch tandem in the league. Reading my Q. the word returning may be a problem.

bnb - kind of like us WMU fans wondering why a guy that avg. 10 yd a pop rushing the ball as a Fr. hardly saw the ball at all his soph year. Running game? What's that?
