What a f*cking dbag... The moment I heard his intro speech at ASU, I knew this dude was an imposter. Our program is better off w/ out him.

RE: And Fraud Graham Keeps the Reruns Coming
I'll tell you what I think about him:
1. He's a good football coach. He can motivate people and he gets pretty good results from the young men that he coaches.
2. He is well versed in personal connection. He has likely read "How to Win Friends and Influence People" many times. He practices these axioms without any concern about whether or not he is being genuine.
3. He is completely ingenuine. He has no care in the world for what others think about him unless they may make a difference when they speak badly. He has mastered the art of coercion and Steve Pederson and Mark Nordenburg (IMO, two smart men) are all the worse for it.
Though I will not accent my next POV with a numerical citation, I will offer this - I do not think that this can last. TG has fooled some very intelligent people over the course of his career. Being disingenuous is not a trait that I belive to be coveted amongst college Presidents, Chancellors, and the like. Quite frankly, he does not have the stamina to advance further in this arena.

Also, I will add this - being able to motivate people can be short-lived. It's possible to get people motivated for a short period of time and then lose them. I saw this happen as I was a big fan of the Tampa Bay Bucs for quite some time. Jon Gruden was a great motivator of men for a small period of time. After a while, however, his message was lost on the locker room. He managed to achieve the pinnacle of success as the coach there - a Super Bowl title, however, afterwards he was much less successful.
The point of the matter is this - it takes different strokes. Gruden couldn't recognize that in Tampa and that cost him his job and perhaps his last NFL HC gig. Graham is going to walk on thin ice as well. He's seen many more groups than Gruden did in his tenure in Tampa, however, I expect the same result - a flame out.

Motivational speeches only last as long as the next losing season.
You need to have personal and team achievement for the words to finally have meaning.
Plus, Graham was a believer in motivational catch phrases followed by unmotivating statements to the press and actions that were self serving and anti-team all the way
