I like what I've read so far about Chryst in PZ's blog. Very down to earth guy and the polar opposite of TG. Love the idea of refocusing recruiting within the ACC footprint. However, I still think that given 1) Urban Meyer's recruiting taking on a more national look and 2) PSU's sanctions will open up OH and NJ significantly to Pitt. I think Pitt will still make a concerted effort to go deeper into OH than just to Youngstown and I believe that Pitt will go hard after NJ kids too. IMO, Pitt will stack up very well competing against Rutgers and Syracuse for NJ recruits.

I guess it's mandatory that I put in my Zeise is an idiot comment here. Zeise is an idiot. I hope we get a new beat writer soon.

You're not missing anything. I think they should hire the Cardiac Hill guy for this job because he's better than Ziese IMO. That's not hard, either.
