If USA wins six or more games - in their first season of SBC play - they'd deserve a bowl with that kind of season. But I don't see it happening. Another 5-7 team? Or in UCLA's case, 6-7 was it?

This can only help the Sun Belt. To be honest, I'd rather see a bowl not happen. We're likely not qualifying for a bowl.

We need more slots. Im thinking we're getting some.

South cannot win the league championship...basically, if they somehow finish first, the team that finished 2nd would be declared champions.

This really is not a big deal since the SBC officially does not break ties for the football championship. Tiebreakers are only used to determine bowls, as the SBC regular season champion must be placed in a bowl before all other teams.

Interesting. With all of the bowl bans, I highly doubt any bowl eligible Belt teams sit at home during bowl season this year. We all need to cheer hard for the teams that are banned from bowls throughout the season.

Let the race to 6 wins begin.

I get they are transitional, but it seems silly IMO

It's the Marshall rule.

It certainly isn't likely to happen and, but I'd be very happy with a 4-win season.

Look..the CUSA should get ready for not qualifying for all their bowl bids anyway.

Isn't UCF favored to win CUSA?

They have to be one of the top candidates to win it. Phil Steele had them at #15.

Phil Steele had us going undefeated pre-sanctions, and in a BCS bowl game for the first time.

Should be interesting how we do without bowl play.
