UCF ineligible for 2012-2013 football bowl games and basketball NCAA tournament
So what do you guys think is our best approach as far as playing this season?

And do you think it was a fair punishment for what went on the past few years?

1)Fire O'leary and reboot. 2) yes because we were already on probation. As long as GOL is here there will be few fans at Brighthouse Stadium other than the students. People have no confidence in this man to be consistent. We also have to question Hitt decision making skills since everything goes through him.

Well you don't get "nothing to lose" seasons very often. Our boys will know that the regular season is all they get. They should play like there is nothing to lose. If we "won" the East, I will be just as stoked as being the CUSA champ. It might be messed up to say this but, I have never been more excited to watch the regular season. We get ECU, USM, and Mizzou at home and could complete our dominace over Marshall which would be pretty sweet.

As long as it happens this year and not next year, it wont bother me too much.

I think we should just take the punishment and move on. If, however, this is part of a last hurrah for O'Leary, I think challenging the football ban is the right way to go. Let O'Leary leave on his own terms, give the new coach time to rework the program, it seems like a good way to transition. If O'Leary isn't leaving, though, I will not be happy with the decision, it seems short-sighted.
