Voters First in Ohio
The group Voters First in Ohio plans to ammend the Ohio constitution to allow the redistricting of congressional districts to the people of the state rather than it's politicians. All I can say is it's about D _ _ _ TIME !!!!!!! Oh yes, and wouldn't you know it, the Ohio GOP does NOT favor this bill. The Ohio GOP does favor restricting voters rights and access to the polls (GOP states voter fraud outrage in Ohio however only 8 cases noted and one prosecuted from the 2008 election).

Who picks the politicians?

So, elections have consequences only when your guy wins?

The people of the state already have a say in redistricting through their votes. Vewb1 and other leftest Fascist's want to take that AWAY from the people and put it into the hands of a non representative, non elected, appointed panel. And they got the signatures by doing what they always do - lie.

No, No Paul, you have it all wrong. Take a look at the article. The redistricting in Ohio by the POLITICIANS is so bad and one sided, the Democrats have virtually no chance in many circumstances. I don't think anyone one want Republican rule all over. Anyway, Paul it's all gonna change. The people want the change just like we over ran that nasty, nasty HB 5 anti union bill. We will do the same here. Not only that, the new inititive will bring out more liberal voters to put Romney in his place.

And in Illinois the republicans had no say as the democrats completely Jerrymandered the entire state. Elections have consequences. To the victors go the spoils.

Once more, who picked the politicians?

Elections have consequences. Isn't what the left has been preaching for the last 4 years?

I'm patient. I'll type as many times as you need me to.

All of them, or just the ones you disagree with?

RE: Voters First in Ohio
My point of contention is that with computerized gerrymandering we get the extremes out of BOTH parties. Moderates are hunted species. Victors consider them their spoils and the losers banish them to be replaced with a more extreme model. The majority of us on here no matter our political leanings are more purple than red or blue. WE are governed by strict RED and strict BLUE politicians. I myself welcome this and I hope it passes.
