IMO, USF can build a solid program down there. McCullogh seems to be a solid, no nonsense coach. He built a winner at Western Michigan, I think he will do the same at USF.

I see he has gotten rid of a few guys and played with a limited roster. Are you guys happy with him and how do you feel about the bball program right now?

usf is the worst team in our league. in football the only reason they compete is due to partial qualifiers. the partial qualifier deal is over. they will struggle in the big east.

Horse crap. If you want to make that allegation, please list for me the names of USF's partial qualifiers. You can't.

It's a nice way to rationalize away the fact that USF has beaten Memphis in each of our last two meetings, but it's incorrect. USF also recruited what Rivals considered to be the best class in either the new Big East or Conference USA, and they're all qualified already. Is that "struggling?"

It's too early to say. Our previous coach had a reputation for having selective rules for his stars, and the undisciplined play really started to translate onto the court. We also had become a team that could win early in the season with the gimmick defense (1-3-1) that we played, but once we got into league play we took a turn for the worse. McCullum came in and had to pretty much clean house, so this year was a loss. We're cautiously optimistic that he's going to turn things around next year and make us at least competitive again. Down the stretch we were competitive with most of the teams we played even though we were starting a walk-on.

I remember reading about your coaches house cleaning. I think it was after you guys beat USM...I think you guys only had 7 players dress for that game??? I see nothing wrong with tearing it down and building a solid foundation. Take thi hit now and in the long run it should payoff...goodluck.
