california is going to be a fiscal/economic nightmare for years to come
it's still a nice place compared to india or vietnam or mexico, so i'm sure it'll continue to soak up the 3rd-world immigration. and if you're rich like george lucas or brad pitt, you can put up barriers to keep the masses at arms-length. but for most middle-class american families trying to raise kids on <$75k a year and 2 incomes, it's just a place to stay the f away from

I don't care what Californians do to themselves, but if they think the rest of the country is going to to bail them out ... they're out of their minds.

California might be Greece, but Texas isn't going to play the role of Germany.
