On the road to Totalitarianism
These guys in the video on the page linked are patriots to me. Regardless of whether they are liberals or conservatives, they care about our constitution. I don't see this as political, since it has been going on under both parties for quite a while now.

Former NSA employees (including a whistleblower) talk about how the NSA is ignoring laws and just plain doing what they want to with their surveillance of ALL Americans. All your communications.

Read the article, watch the video and I'd be interested in your comments. We've built a Frankenstein monster and it is now turning on us.

U.S. Fast Becoming A Totalitarian State While the Media Ignores the Story

Quote:The 4th Amendment is being eliminated by stealth means and no one seems to be paying attention. It is far more serious than airport strip searches or archived social data networks by the government.

Drones are collecting data from every area they fly over, picking up information on every individual in the vicinity, relaying it back to the source, and storing it. This is not just the government doing this, it’s the police, companies, universities, and so on.

Infrared cameras are being installed on streetlights, allegedly to keep us safe. They will have the capacity to collect endless amounts of data about each of us.

Then there is the spy center, not aimed at merely spying on invaders. It is also aimed at us. The government will abuse it. It will be too late by the time Americans realize what is going on.
Quote:According to another top official also involved with the program, the NSA made an enormous breakthrough several years ago in its ability to cryptanalyze, or break, unfathomably complex encryption systems employed by not only governments around the world but also many average computer users in the US.

The upshot, according to this official: “Everybody’s a target; everybody with communication is a target.”

RE: On the road to Totalitarianism
A Pyrrhic victory. The 4th Amendment is worth fighting for, hence the Black Op hush, hush. The Judiciary has failed the people again.
