No it wasn't.

It wouldn't be the first time that someone has accused Martin of "stealing" info from Roar.

I think you are talking about this site:

(edited) are us

This board is full of nothing but hatred for Tiger fans this site and Memphis Roar...

I don't think it's really the role of mt.org to take sides on the validity or role of other Tigers sites (MR, YMT, TSR, etc, etc). I in general are grateful for all the people who take time to invest in places for us to congregate.

mt.org (CSNBBS) and other sites have different core missions. mt.org is really a message board and meeting area. MR/TSR are sites that provide reporting and stories that are fun for our fan base to read. Sites like YMT are valuable niche sites that provide different experiences.

I've got no issue with any site that talks Tigers and encourage all posters to take the same point of view.

FUT threw YMT out there as an alternative. It ain't his fault the gremlins got a hold of it.

They've done the same thing over here.

Hell, I broke the FedEx jersey story on here and the OM basketball series being started up on another site. And I'm a nobody. Information isn't privileged to a few this day and age. To think that having there is only ONE place that gives you primo info is silly.

uh oh

No uh-oh necessary.

My understanding is that it's really not the role of mt.org's posters to publicly bash another site such as MR/TSR/YMT etc. If you have a problem with that site, take it up with their moderation teams on their sites. This really isn't the place to be calling another Tigers site 'dumb - - - es'.

That's not being an apologist. That's extending a level of public civility and trying to understand the boundaries and core mission of a site such as mt.org.
