Season Ticket holders will have to choose seats all over again after the 2012 season. They will choose in order of the ODAF point system.

If your donation level guarantees that number of tickets, the answer is yes.
You could have tried to do the same thing this year by upping donation, but the extra seats would not be next to your currect ones.

How is that different from every year when I get my renewal flyer, I am told that I may purchase additional tickets if available?

"if available" puts that extra ticket request behind anyone who has a donor level that supports additional tickets. In the first case, you are at behind donors who want more tickets and have room to do with their current donation level. In the second, priority on those tickets that were not renewed by their previous owners, for whatever reason.
Hope that helps.

OK. I may have a high enough level for two more tickets. I will have to read my letter. I am not sure.
My next question on the reseating is this:
Do we have any priority on retaining our current seats, or do we have to completely go through the picking process like we did 4 years ago?

I believe it will be just like BB re-seating. Last year when our appointment time came up if our seats were still available we could have reserved those or switch to other seats. If they weren't available we would have to pick other seats.

There will be many more fish swimming in the pond, I am afraid.
We are on the visitor side, between the 40 and 45 yead line.
I highly doubt, at my same donation level, that those seats will be available next year.
This is the "downside" of a growing program, but is what it is.............

I am less concerned with my actual seat location than I am with all of the friends we have made in the section. It has been fun for 3 years;a social experience, like an extended tailgate.

Smitty...the thought of Foreman Field without you, Dennis, Mike, Becky, baby Olivia and all our great neighbors is too much to bear! We need to contact each other when we get our selection appointments to gauge our chances and maybe find a strategy to stay together. The one advantage we have is we are on the visitors' side and way up there!

Homselr-
Gosh, what a great idea.
The experience at Foreman would be much different if our little group were split up next year. I am definitely in, as to trying to make our section stay intact.

RE: Football Season Tickets Sold Out for 4th Straight Year
My sub-group is in Sec 118 row VV Seats 24,23,22,21 & UU Seats 23 & 24. We're right on the aisle absolutely at the top right in front of the ODU coaches box. Basically on the 48-49 yard line. We had points to stay on the home side but on the 35ish line and not on an aisle so we chose to go to the East/Visitors side to get on the 50. The choice for the top row was for good field vision and the extra space with no one behind us. The trek up for this old, fat lady was tough but I got used to it. I'd forgotten how steep the stairs were and NO handrail! Good thing I knew a few people on the aisles below. I'd hold on to their shoulders with the ruse of saying hi on the way down. Made new friends (that I grabbed on to!) in time of need.
Smitty let's call each other when or reseating appointments arrive. I've got Mike and Becky's number to call when the time comes. We'll put our heads together at the games this year.
