That doesn't matter! The only thing that matters is beating Michigan 5 seasons ago and winning 3 back to back to back Division I Halfway Point Championships, the last of which was also 5 seasons ago.

TV market doesn't matter (BTW, App St is in 3 TV markets!!!!!). Winning history in other sports also means nothing just like the academic profile of a university doesn't count either!

Don't you know App could join the Sun Belt right now and win the conference championship!?!?

Tell that to the PAC-12 or Big 10, I think AAU membership is basically mandatory for the Big 10.

True Story.

I actually used the Sagarin ratings for the teams of the "new" SB and CUSA conferences and calculated that both "new" conferences were weaker than existing. But, CUSA actually lost fewer points than the SB. Of course, I don't know how accurate it is and I don't remember the numbers. CUSA added the strongest team and SB added the two weakest, if I remember correctly.

But, in the factors that matter to outsiders views, tv contracts, tv ratings, bowl tie-ins, the SBC still has a ways to go to get even with C-USA, that's why those SBC teams didn't think twice about moving to C-USA.

Louisiana Tech is better than any teams is the SB. Always have been. Not that it is a big deal.
