The UN is a total joke... The list of nations on their human rights commission is..

Its current members are People's Republic of China, Zimbabwe, Russia, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan.

If we pull out, I bet a lot of others do as well.

The UN is another outdated and ineffective relic of the past. It needs to either evolve or be dissolved.

It seems to me that this type of action is precisely why the UN is useful. Getting a bunch of countries that already agree to something in principle to sit down at the table to negotiate always seems to be the path to producing something intolerable (see kyoto or global gun control).
