It seems the Mayan calendar predicted another early season meltdown of mighty #5 OU. In an uncharacteristic performance from Landry Jones with three interceptions. The Miners broke the stalemate at the 5:05 3rd Qtr with a 51yd TD reception by Lamaison to Leslie. At the 4:42 3rd Qtr Jones INT to Williams for 30yd gave the Miners a 14-0 advantage. On the next play Jones would throw another int to D. Thomas on a botched screen pass. This would later set up a 2yd TD run by K. Ford at 3:55 3rd Qtr. Oklahoma's lone score was a 12yd TD by D. Whaley 2:24 3rd Qtr. UTEP will be traveling next week to play Marshall while OU will play at home against FCS SE. This marks the first time UTEP has beat a school from a power conference since beating Ole Miss nearly 50 years ago. This also marks the first win against a rank team since beating Houston several years ago.

You can get a different roster for your personal use off-line that has the above changes made, but for the online dynasty the roster is set outside of superficial changes (name, ht/wt, appearance, equipment).


Your next step is to join the OD either by searching for it within the game (name: fatbackblazerOD1, password: cusa) or waiting for an invite from the commissioner.

basically what happened a few years ago, I believe it was 2010 or 2011 that a player got heavily modified in the roster for a CUSA member, looking back at his career he was way over rated anyway. I made a huge fuss over it because that one player changed to outcome of the entire season for me. and so now we play with the shipped rosters with name additions only. The guys over at Operation sports do a modified roster with all new freshman and transfers. go there if you'd like to look for a better roster than what EA ships out.

EA would get sued for making the rosters as realistic as they do in Madden, but they allow users to modify the rosters to be as realistic as possible. They can't get in trouble for what the user does... because of this, the last year for NCAA basketball will forever be 2010. EA makes so much money from football that it could take the lawsuit. Basketball not so much.

lol what? NCAA basketball got discontinued because the game sucked and nobody bought it. It had nothing to do with the lawsuit.

Also, the lawsuit had nothing to do with user-generated rosters.

alright the last 2 invites were sent out today. Tampa Knight needs to play his game. Rebel Wave needs to recruit. Plus the 2 new guys and Demiveeman if he bought it yet... I will never wait on recruiting for someone. If you don't get that in I'm sorry. I want all the games in by wednesday night I know this puts a rush on a few of you guys. I'm sorry we just need to move on to week 2.

I will give XBL reminders to people to play their game if its like the day before an advance and it isn't in yet. because there are 16 teams there are 9 conference games. Everyone lost 1 OOC game. This actually caused me to have a bye in week 1. I wish I would have switched out my FCS game for them, but oh well. I believe that is something I will do next season is remove everyones FCS games and add in a FBS opponent if it shows up.

This is what I'll do. When I advance I'll send out a mass message to everyone on XBL to let them know when I'll advance again. I really need you guys to add me as a friend for this reason. I want to do a 3-4 day rotation at the most.

We officially have a full Dynasty congrats guys. I believe this is a first for us. I think CUSA went 6-1 in week 1 with Houston and UAB with a bye. This does not include CUSA drones.

I can't afford the game right now, unfortunately. But since UNT's first game is against LSU, I'm going to try and rent it tomorrow for the sole purpose of playing the first game. I'm not so concerned about the next couple of games, but LSU to start the season is a huge advantage for bowl season if I can pull out a win.

um also you'll probably have to buy the EA pass thingy most likely to play our OD if you rent it. I don't know for sure, but I had to buy it because I bought a used version of Madden 12. That is $10.

Also I did not edit the OOC for any team but according my console UNT plays OOC: TROY FAU and ULL. I posted earlier about going to 16 teams took away an OOC for everyone. I think the conference change made the 4 additions OOC completely wrong. I'm sorry.

What do you mean by new CUSA teams? Every CUSA team for 2012 and 13 that is in NCAA 2013 is currently in our OD. ODU and UNCC aren't in this version of the game and I don't plan on exiling Houston, SMU, Memphis, and UCF to the big east until NCAA 14 comes out then all bets are off

I meant adding the new C-USA teams into the Conference. But I take it you already did that based on this schedule.

Should be very interesting.

I'm not so worried about the first three games anymore.

Plus, I'm new to this thing so I'm not real sure about what I'm doing. If someone else wants my spot I will give it up. If not hopefully I will have the hang of this by next week.

Also, when I tried to access Online Dynasty last night I kept gettting an error message: Profile does not have proper permission (or something like that). Does anyone know what that means? I bought the game new so I assumed it came with all the access codes to play everything on it. Is there something else you have to buy or do to make OD work? Thanks.

Yeah I lost to UCLA when my top rated player (kicker) didn't have enough leg for a 49 yard field goal to tie late in the 4th quarter.

Seems to be a pattern for me in these ODs, I lose the first OOC game vs. the CPU (usually against a good BCS team).

I should have gotten my custom playbook straightened out before the game. Has anyone fiddled around with custom playbooks in 13 yet? Is it improved?

I had the same problem at first.
You need to go to the Settings tab on the XBOX Dashboard, then select Privacy. Make sure that "Voice and Text" is Allowed. I just switched my settings to "Adult" and that fixed it for me.

um, at least do me the favor of trying to get in. We need people more than anything no matter how bad or good they are. We don't mind letting people learn the game with us. ECU & Rice will go to the championship game. Tampa and I with battle it out for 3rd best record in the conference. Barring no surprise upsets.

alright guys... 9/9 games have been played. I told everyone Wednesday though so the 3 new guys have until then at wednesday at midnight Central time thats 1 am for you eastern guys. We'll wait unless everyone votes for immediate advance.

I know bluedawg and Demiveeman said not to worry about them, but I need confirmation from The east is purple that it is okay to skip him too.

I have mine in rough format. I'll polish it as I go on and play more people.

Custom Playbooks are still a little glitchy. Sometimes on D the screen locks up where you can't pick a play. You just have to pause the game and go back in and it'll reset. I think it is related to my custom playbook. I really should delete some of the formations in it and see if that helps. The playbooks are the exact same as 12 though it seems. I've basically recreated everything I had in 12.
