If you have time can you post some information on UTA in a separate thread? Perhaps include some photos/videos of the UTA campus and facilities. Is there any other UTA fans out there?

Yes, I'll be glad to do that (perhaps this weekend). And I'll also encourage some of the posters on our UTA site to come here and join in. I think the one-year stay in the WAC has some fans a little apathetic; it ought to be much better a year from now.

Be glad you only have to play Denver one year. They are almost impossible to beat at home with their thin air and the Princeton Offense, but they can look terrible when they go on the road.

Good pictures here...very comprehensive.

https://www.uta.edu/publications/gallery/

I like General Campus Scenes category and also Buildings & Architectural Details category.

I think we have a very pretty campus....it's not "OMG-beautiful," but it is very nice...even impressive in places...and it is not small. The University has always paid a lot of attention to landscaping; I have always enjoyed walking it or riding my bike on it. Campus edges have traditionally been a little visually weak for drive-by appeal, but even that has drastically changed for the better over the last few years....particularly on the east side of campus with the creation of the 20-acre College Park district, the extension to the north with the Engineering Research Building ($127 million beauty), and with the re-make of Greek Row Drive on the west side.

This may sound morbid, but I've always liked how you guys converted a slaughterhouse into a planetarium.

well there is a new multi-million dollar planetarium built a few years ago..and the old one was not a slaughter house but a livestock viewing arena that was the girls gym for a while...I actually took an astronomy class from the professor who spearheaded the conversion from unused gym to planetarium..he was a german panzer lt. in ww2 who went awol and ended up in america..made astronomy class fun..
