So i heard that southern was a pretty good academic institution so i'm considering going there for a Ph. D. in biology. Let me just look this up...

Oh, by the way, by saying Georgia State will always lose, you're either being extremely incredulous or equally disingenuous, and i personally don't care if you're either. We've had one winning season and one losing season, which means we've had less losing seasons than southern, and less losses than southern. We have the talent and the resources to be extremely successful and to believe otherwise is just being ignorant. There is no reason to believe that we should be unsuccessful in the long run, to think so would imply that schools either win constantly or lose constantly, which is generally not the case. I really don't care if you believe this or not, just get ready for the disappointment in that we actually have a good chance of doing rather well

Actually, it's coming from a guy and GSU alumni who make more in one month than you and most Southern alumni make in a year. $18 million in private funds raised in the last 3 years? Someone needs to contact the AJC because they have clearly made a major error. In their recent article they indicate that $6.8 million has been raised over the past 4 years. Also, in 2011 Ga State Boosters donated $521,000.00 as part of the annual booster fund.

As far as Ga Southern, we have raised $6.2 million in the past 12 months for our football operations center. The remaining $3.8 million is expected to be received this year. In 2011, our boosters donated $1.3 million as part of the annual booster fund.

Fair enough. I have big hopes for you guys to represent the Sun Belt this year and go 8-0 in the CAA. You guys should dominate since you are essentially an FBS program stuck in FCS for a year. Also, with the FBS excitement, the population of Atlanta and a better schedule you guys should average over 20k this year I am thinking.
