Question about EMU football schedule
Does anyone know when we typically finalize the times for our home football games? I'm trying to make travel plans for our 10/13 game vs. Toledo, but kickoff time has not yet been decided. Thing is, if it ends up being a night game, that would significantly impact my itinerary.

Three other homes games have undecided kickoff times as well. 03-banghead

RE: Question about EMU football schedule
is it possible that the Toledo game will be televised? if so, the decision might not be made until a week or two before the game.

if it's not a television thing, then i have no idea.

RE: Question about EMU football schedule
If EMU plays day games, I could see UT vs. EMU being the MAC game of the week. For Toledoens that is shown on ABC.

RE: Question about EMU football schedule
I would guess that all the games will start between 1-3pm

RE: Question about EMU football schedule
Don't know if anyone else reported it here.. but the EMUEagles site(http://www.emueagles.com/schedule.aspx?path=football) did update a couple of the times for the home games(at least it's the first time I've seen a time for the Ill State game):

Illinois State - 1:00 PM (home opener for U of M same day at 3:30)
Kent State and Army - 1:00 PM

Toledo, Central and N. Illinois are still TBA

RE: Question about EMU football schedule
I was thinking we should have more late start game around 6:00pm to get more students and community fans to come out to support this team. Then we would be the only show in the area and not compete again the U of M games. This would also allow EMU to combine football with another sponsored event. Anything to get cheeks-in-seats.

RE: Question about EMU football schedule
The home opener is usually a night game. I have no clue why it's scheduled at 1 p.m., two hours before Michigan kicks off in Ann Arbor. This makes no sense to me.
