Fire out east of Magazine
Wind blowing. Not good. It is a scary situation right now.

I heard a second-hand report this morning that they had it controlled. Hope so. My daughter and nephew, who live about a mile west of where the fire was, said they could see the flames. If it had traveled very far north it would have gotten into the national forest up on Mt. Magazine, so it could have been big trouble.

Here is one report:
12 homes evacuated. All still standing. Over 70 acres burned(by TV report. I think it may actually be more). Fire was contained overnight but they were still watching hot spots. They think it may have started by some kids using their 4th of July sparklers.
