Read Jeff's comment, and then look at the poll now. Gillon has come roaring down the stretch. I sure hope all these votes are from new Trojan fans - friends and relatives of the recruits.

Must be friends or relatives of the players. We don't have that many fans to begin with, and if we did, none of us have seen any of these players play.

I assume there is a one vote limit per person.

I thought it was interesting, too, since he is the recruit I've heard the least about. I think he has dropped back into second place as of tonight. I voted for the Canadian kid, but I really don't have a good feel for any of the recruits. I said before last season that I felt pretty confident that Will Neighbour would be a very good player for us- Figured that I guy who was a star for his national team and the best player his age in England, would do well in the Sun Belt. I never really know what high school stats mean (I would bet Stetson Billings won't score 57 for us this season) and none of our recruits for next season were ranked particularly high (I think one got 2 stars on Rivals). So like LRTrojan, I will be taking a wait and see approach to all the new recruits. I think even LRTrojan will admit I was right about WN, but i spent a good bit of time researching him on the internet.

Labron James or Michael Jordan in his prime could not score 57 for us.
But they'd play great defense and make a lot of passes.

I voted for Hagins because point guard is our most crucial need. He will have the greatest impact on way or another because of the importance of filling that spot. We are going to sink or swim with him.

If there are no repeat votes from the same source, Jeff is getting a LOT of new interest for BTH.

I believe we recruited two good point guards. Hagins and the young man from Strake Jesuit in Houston. I think it will remain to be seen who turns out to be the man, but it will definitely be one of them.

I am thinking this is a sleeper class. Here's hoping.

On paper, this is probably our best class ever, if you take into consideration that there are absolutely no jucos in the class. There might not be a superstar, although there could possibly be, but depth wise, every player seems like a solid player. I'm really anxious to see these new kids in action.
