Sandusky found Guilty
Glad to see this verdict. I doubt that you could find a jury in Arkansas that would convict a hog coach in court, at least a "winning" hog coach.

No problem with a losing Hog coach.

May God have mercy on the souls of the people that covered for this man because I don't. This guy will never survive "gen pop", so he will live 23 hours a day in a 6 x 8 cell for the rest of his life to think about what he has done.

RE: Sandusky found Guilty
Anyone who does something like he did is bound to have something wrong in the wiring somewhere, no completely sane person would do something like that. At the same time, they've got to be punished to the full extent of the law. My concern was that they might not find enough fair minded folks to convict a revered Penn State coach. I feared that it might be a hung jury, and he'd get off.

There is a guy in Texas, I think, this week that had to kill someone to protect his 5 year old daughter. Trust me, I don't think a jury with a parent on it would do anything to the father.

Not in Texas. And not anywhere else if kiling was the only option.

Sad that he also had to ruin the reputation of a legend, Joe Paterno.
The guy obviously has something wrong with him. Assuming he committed all these heinous crimes against young people, he needs to be put away for the rest of his life.01-lauramac2

I agree, and it may have plalyed some part in him dying as soon as he did. Maybe Paterno really didn't do enough. When he reported it to his superior(the AD), and nothing was done, he should have taken it higher. Paterno also knew he had those young boys in and out of the athletic facilities.

I suspect he will spend the rest of his life in the pen.

Sad ending to what should have been a legendary career.

RE: Sandusky found Guilty
As a parent, I am ok with him having to spend all that time alone in a cell. It will give him time to think about how damn evil he was/is. There just is not words for crap like this.
