I like our chances with Skulina on the mound. Has really pitched well all year but has found another gear since giving up the bomb to Murphy/Buffalo in the first inning during the MAC Tourney. Would love to get on the board early again and make the Cocks come from behind.

There is something wrong with that last sentence.

South Carolina is a tough, well coached team that plays very sound. We had a 6-0 lead on them earlier in the season but they came back and won...we barely scraped by them last night. This game will definitely come down to the last out imo

Florida overlooked us. These guys won't. We cannot afford playing like we did the other night. Unless we are near flawless, SC wins. Our bullpen needs to BITE DOWN tonight! Our clutch hitting needs to come through. If we get 2 runners on, but can't score a run, that will jeopardize our chances. Respectively, walking runners into scoring position could spell doomsday.
South Carolina learned a lot about us after Monday's game.

Gonna be a tough one, but we've proved to be a tough out so far! The pen will be oh so important tonight if they get to Skully and we need to hit the ball like we did against the gators. C'mon Flashes, we've already proved we belong now let's take out SEC team number 3!

Pouring rain. Doesn't look good. I am sure they will wait hours before they cancel but it looks like a late night or maybe a 5pm game tomorrow.

Man I was psyched to get back from my bike ride and have an XX or two and watch this game. Hard time to watch tomorrow since I'll be at work. But if the Flashes take care of bidness they will have to play Arkansas at 8pm. The following is info from http://www.kentstatesports.com:

Kent State will take on South Carolina Thursday, June 21 at 12 p.m. ET/11 a.m. CT on ESPN2

OMAHA, Neb. – After multiple and significant thunderstorms moved through Omaha Wednesday evening to delay the start of Kent State's College World Series game versus South Carolina, the contest has been postponed and will be played Thursday, June 21 at 12 p.m. ET/11 a.m. CT.

Ticket holders for Wednesday's game (game #10) will not be issued a refund due to the fact the game will be played. Those tickets will provide admission to Thursday's morning game.

The game will be aired live on ESPN2 and will also be available on ESPN3 network. Kent State's radio broadcast will be available via the internet, aired live locally on 640 AM WHLO as nationally via IHeartRadio.

The winner of the Kent State/South Carolina contest will then face Arkansas Thursday at 8 p.m. CT. Tickets for Thursday's evening game will be on sale immediately following the morning session.

Lovely. Knew this was a possibility but it's now confirmed. South Carolina is pitching their ace and #1 starter Michael Roth against us. That is a much bigger hurdle than we had originally. Oh well - gotta do what you gotta do.
