FIU had a really really good recruiting year, but figure off the top of my head that Troy and them should change spots. FIU didn't win any bowl games until they got OC Scott Satterfield, after having a year at Toledo, and because our AD told him he needed outside experience for about three years, then won two bowl games while he was there. Their fans didn't think much of him. Mainly because there was a lot more going on than they could see in the offense. They thought his offense podantic. That's OK, we have him back now so they don't have to worry about it. Plus they had some injuries, but think having a new OC will not get them off to a good start.

I completely dispute his ranking for ULM's RBs. If he is right about our OLine, we may have a dynamic offense. I also dispute his ranking of our receivers.

So, according to you, FIU only won a bowl game because we landed Satterfield that year? Come on. That's a ridiculous statement. I mean, I don't think he is as bad as some exaggerated FIU fans might thing, but I don't think he is as incredible as you might want to think either. I think he was good for FIU, for whatever it's worth, and I think he will do great back at ASU.
I dont think FIU will be 1st....But I also Dont know that Troy should be 1st. we have the potential to Win the SBC....We bring back lots of players we were not able to use last year and should be back to our old ways on Offense...I DO however believe Troy will be top 3.
Note....If we have any injuries to Key players we are screwed...We have depth issues.

This might seem way out there - but if Frankie Jackson and SirGregory Thornton are healthy - stAte could have the best RBs/rushing attack in the league. I base this on how Malzahn likes to be much more physical/downhill with the running game than did Freeze, and on the unrealized talent of these two RBs. Also the Freshman speedster Kendrick Daniels from Sulphur Springs Texas could be a game breaker for the Red Wolves.

There is NO doubt that the top 2 offenses will be UL and stAte.
Last year does not = this year.
Troy could easily have the best passing offense in the conference not like we haven't done that before. It's all going to come down to schedules, injuries, and who is the it team this year.
No one has a distinct better offense when your talking about the top four offenses in this conference. I can argue that Troy's QB is still 1-2 in the conference with injuries and lack of experienced receivers and still putting up big numbers last year.
Not to mention we have ULL at home as the second game of the season when we will be fresh. FIU at home and ASU at home for our homecoming game.
Hardly ever does the top 3 or 4 one year stay the same top 3 or 4 the following year....I would be SHOCKED if ASU, UL, FIU, and WKU are the same top 4 this year...

I know it has been said somewhere but that 2nd game when UL comes to Troy may have a giant impact on our outcome and yours. I also agree that ASU is going to be tough.

Maybe yours, not ours. Whether we lose or not...We will still win enough games to be bowl eligible and we will be invited to a bowl game.

Prepare to be shocked.
And why do you think that will happen...Its just your opinion. Id put money on the table right now that the top 4 wont happen like that.
