Question for FIU fans about Louisville game on TV
For your 9/22 game hosting Louisville...do you know what the deciding factor is if it will be on ESPNU or ESPN3.com?

NIU is hosting Kansas that day and we have the same thing for TV...ESPNU OR ESPN3.com but they did not give us a kickoff time.

Thanks

I'm not really sure, I think it will be a network decision based on ratings and what not. Either way, I'm looking forward to that game and a sold out FIU Stadium. Go PANTHERS!

Ya we are also expecting a sellout crowd for Kansas and TSISB cast offs.

We are just hoping that the game is on ESPNU and not cast off to the internet...as long as its not a 11am kickoff!

I was told that the decision on our game should be made by ESPN before the season but they have the right to hold until 12 days before kickoff.

All MAC and SBC games should at least be on ESPN3.

We produce the ESPN3 games at MT, with our announcers, HD cameras, etc.......... ESPN just has to link it..........

If ESPN/2/U/GP/+ is not going to pick up the game then the rest of the games should be available for 2nd tier rights.

NIU has a 2nd tier agreement with IMG/ISP where we have 1 home game per season with CSN-Chicago along with a paid online streaming site for non-ESPN games.

IMO ESPN3.com should ONLY have 3rd tier rights to our CONFERENCE games.

ESPN3.com screwed us last year by picking our game @ Soldier Field vs Wisconsin and our home opener vs Army. Both games were not on real TV and it stunk.

Unfortunately for FIU fans based on your Conference packet it seems that the Panthers hosting of Louisville got pushed aside to the internet on ESPN3.com.

I hate when ESPN does this to us. They need to at least give us the chance to put it on TV in our own local market before they take is as internet fluff.
