Students of history know that Samuel Gompers, one of the earliest American labor organizers of the AFL, refused to let the labor movement align with any party or ideology and especially Socialism. He had studied it and came to the conclusion that it would be a disaster economically. He felt that aligning with any other group or party ideology would just be trading one master for another and would subordinate labor's influence. It wasn't until after his death that unions were taken over by the far left.

As I said then in reference to the negative article that was about Romney.. Yahoo! is pure trash, regardless who it's insulting. Romney or Unions. It's horseshit, the Bleacher Report of mainstream websites.

I think the key thing people miss is that, when given the choice after Walker's reforms, whether to join a union or not, union membership declined dramatically. People made the choice not to join.

Pretty damning IMO.

I think you're doing this deliberately to try and take away from Walker's dominating win tonight but just for fun I'll play along with your "guessing" game.

You are guessing wrong.

No huge surprise there. A lot of others - like TOGC and UMGrad did as well. And many more will be wrong or shrug it off as "hyperbole" when COTUS gets his ass handed to him the first Tuesday in November by Romney.
