Ya know... the versions of that scene original and otherwise... never really bothered me...I think the editing hiccups did in the redux though. That said, it was a gangster bar with gangsters doing gangster ****.... it was do or die situation for both parties at the point the guns were fired.... Han won... suck it Greedo.
I was personally more pissed off about the Sly Snoodles sing a long in Jaba's Palace. Mr. Lucas, you really want to sell me that was needed? REALLY?
Then a mild one is, how the hell did Darth Maul, one of the most bad ass SW characters ever, goes out like a b* when Obi Wan all of a sudden just happens to say.." ohh let me jump out of this hole and kill you in once slice.."

I completely agree there...I fast forward through that scene EVERY time. That has got to be one of the most pointless scene's in any movie ever made.
